Legacy, our Emotibear of remembrance is proud to be out in the community of Bolton, celebrating the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
He started his day by visiting a local school in Bolton, where he spent the whole school day with the children there. He met many of the students and teachers, who welcomed him with cuddles.
On a mission to help the children of the class to understand the importance of the day, he took with him a specially crafted story. Peace, Poppies and a Promise is a wonderful journey through time and learning - impossible to stop reading once you start.
Don't just take our word for it, we want to share this with the world so please - from the Emotibears to you - download a free copy.
Below, if you click the story cover image or the download button, you'll receive a PDF copy of Legacy's story. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we did writing it.
After Legacy said goodbye to the class he'd had such a wonderful day with, he visited Farnworth war memorials, where he paid his respects to those who gave their lives for the town. He enjoyed the sights and sounds of the park and even climbed a tree to get the best view he could.
Rest assured we'll be seeing Legacy again with his other Emoti-friends, especially his granddaughter Poppy.
Lest We Forget
Buddy, Ray, Sunni, Scowlington and Legacy are all excited to meet you. We're busy working away to bring these wonderful bears to the world. Adored by children already, we know whichever Emoti-friend you choose to adopt, they'll become a treasured companion.

The Emotibears’ Record-Breaking Adventure
Raymondo, a teddy bear owned by a British company, ISPY (UK), currently holds the record of being the world’s most travelled teddy bear.
Between 27 September 2009 – 3 September 2010, Raymondo travelled 395,605 miles (639,714.8 Km), passing through 6 continents and visiting 35 countries on his journey. Each mile was logged on a dedicated website, together with a personal blog, which included photographs and witness statements.
Raymondo was accompanied by airline crewmembers or sponsors and had his own passport, several changes of clothing and a suitcase containing a range of travelling goodies.
Named after Ray Martin, the husband of ISPY (UK) founder Christine Martin, Raymondo retired after his world trip in Court Colman, South Wales.
The countries he visited were: Aruba, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, China, Cuba, Cyprus, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates (UAE), United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (USA) and Vietnam.
Proposed Record Attempt
Jetsetter Jax (‘Jax’) and Roaming Rosie (‘Rosie’) are the two travelling Emotibears. Jax is constantly on the go, looking to travel as far as possible at the fastest speed imaginable. Rosie loves to spend time in new places and foreign lands, taking in the different sights, cultures, languages, cuisines, fashions, history and geography that she then writes about, every day, in her dairy.
The aim is to break the current travel record for a teddy bear in two ways. Firstly, Jax’s goal is to travel as far as possible in one calendar year. His sole intent is to smash the record by as many miles/kilometres as possible. Rosie’s focus is on visiting as many different locations as possible, documenting and sharing her findings on a daily basis.
Both of these record-breaking attempts will include fundraising on behalf of charities and other good causes, both in the UK and elsewhere.
Currently Jax and Rosie are packing up their suitcases and readying their passports. Both are excited and can't wait to not only begin their adventures, but to share them along with you!
A blog section will be set up when our adventurers set off so we can track where they are and what they've been up to. We'll get to share in the sights they see, the foods they try, the people they meet and the knowledge they gain.
We'll keep you updated with all their progress and when they'll be setting off. For now, stay tuned!
